consists of 20+ houses equipped with smart energy and environmental sensors with up to 10-second frequency. We offer a unique opportunity for pilot projects and data collection in the field of sustainable energy. We can provide this lab as a testbed for academic and industrial partners to conduct research and experiments on energy efficiency, demand response, and energy disaggregation. The data collected from our living lab is available for machine learning and artificial intelligence studies to enable pattern recognition and insights into energy consumption. We strongly believe that our living lab is a valuable asset for the research community and industry. We invite academic and industrial partners to collaborate with us on EU-funded Horizon proposals that can leverage our living lab's capabilities.

40+ participants with different demographic characteristics are currently participating. An extensive questionnaire capturing these characteristics and their social practices has also been applied. |
The living lab includes both the aggregated power consumption of the recruited households as well as appliance level consumption data from washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, water boiler and A/C appliances. |
The dataset includes aggregate as well as appliance level electric consumption data metered in Watt (W), Kilowatt-hour (kWh), Amber (I) and Volt (V). The latter also collects both internal and environmental data, Temperature (°C) and Humidity (%). |
